Making me insecure..purpleish threatening circles underneath eyes
it runs in my family, but not a soul else in my family care. I would like to be able to stride out of the house without makeup, but it's dark around the underneath of my eyes, and cover up or concealor doesn't work especially well. anything cheap i can use or do to get rid of them?

i have the same problem. i bought a product thinking it be coverup but it was actually a product for brown undereye circles. its called Neutrogena Skin Soothing Undereye Corrector. its about as big as a pen, and it have a spongetip so it is easy to blend in. it comes surrounded by many shades, and it works wonders.
I have this issue. I tried various things but nothing worked until I stumbled upon an eye cream from clinique that worked wonders. I tried heaps of treaments including other brands of eye cream that targeted this issue, but again, the individual thing that worked for me was the clinque cream. It's costly, but be worth it. I continue using it to keep those darkened circles at bay.
I forget what it's called but it comes surrounded by a small jar that is pinkish in color. If you're interested in recent times as a clerk at the clinique counter about it ~ their eye cream for dark circles ~ and they can report to you which cream is designed to target that.
Most of it is genetic. I own them to. Just get lots of sleep, and try not be stressed to much. I also have hear that when you cry a lot under eye circles appear dark. Not sure if it's true tho. Also drink plenty of water. Getting a bit of color in your facade as well as putting cold spoons under eyes may facilitate. Get ShiSeido Benefiance Revitalizing Cream. I got mine from Macy's and just a tiny wipe of it does wonders on dark circles.
vitamin E oil,olive grease,cucumbers, & a doctor can also help. I have pretty fruitless ones so this is all from experience.
