I can totally sympathize. I have dark areas beneath my eyes as well and often wondered equal things as you. I have heard some angelic things about other products (Olay) but at the present time can't afford a whole lot. What help me was the Clean and Clear Morning Burst undereye stuff. It won't eliminate the see circles but it'll brighten up your whole eye area to thieve the focus off underneath. Good luck! :)
Have you seen your doctor? I think you might be anemic. If that's not the luggage try preparation H or even freeze tea bags (after they are wet) and put them on your eyes for 10 minutes. Works in the morning for me.

If you would resembling to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, mature fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to receive sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie back down and listen to some music, or take a bath & consent to it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it past its sell-by date.Gelatin is very high surrounded by Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it day after day for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should catch sight of a drastic reduction in dim circles.
